Yinka Shonibare is an amazing artist on many levels but I am completely fascinated by his batik. I love the colors and the combination of large and small patterns on top of each other. I am sure seeing it in a magazine or on the web does not do it justice. I hope someday to have the opportunity to study his fabric in person.
