I was finally able to get out of the house on Friday to see a wonderful art opening at Eric Schindler. My friend Becky picked a great exhibit. She loves map related art and I love detailed handwork so we were both more than happy with Joe DeRoche's multi media arial views. You could get lost in all the little details or stand back and imagine you were looking down on all the little ant people. If you are in the Richmond area the show will be up until May 11th you really need to see them in person.

Wow these pattern logos really inspire me to work on my own logo using one of my patterns. You should check out the whole article on curent logo trends. The theme seems to be very technical and colorful, designed for digital media. From LogoLounge.com via Moo

Wow I can't believe it finally happened. My first show was a big success. All the hard work of starting the business is complete now I just need to find more venues to sell the prints. The new floral design was a big hit. They should be up in the Etsy store very soon. Thanks so much to Richmond Craft Mafia for putting on a fantastic show.

So you know how much I love patterns. What a great way to easily show off all your favorites by creating an art wall of loveliness.

So have you missed me? I have been a little scarce on the blog because I am up to my eyeballs in work for Spring Bada Bing. I also apologize for my photos on the blog lately I don't have Photoshop Elements on the new laptop so I am at the mercy of the new Blogger program. I know it is supposed to be easier but really it's not helping that much. As soon as I get a break after the show I am going shopping for some new clothes. Thanks for the link to Annabelle via Heysusy.

Is it wrong to love a business card? I am so happy with how how my Moo business cards turned out. I also got a bunch of greeting cards to sell at the Spring Bada Bing. I joined Flickr just so that I could show them off. I also finally got my display shelves. It took a few tries but they finally sent the right color. Can't wait to see how everything comes together.
