I first saw this on the CoinOp blog months ago and I just keep coming back to this Ty shower curtain kit from Grain. How fun would it be to add your own image or pattern to make a one of a kind shower curtain. But of course I would never be able to make the commitment to actually put marker to shower curtain. I am just way to indecisive with too many ideas. What would you draw on yours?

Riki Zarris Prints Sneak Peek
Hey Guess what I got accepted into my first show! I will be selling at Richmond Craft Mafia's Spring Bada Bing April 18th. So I have been crazy busy getting my act together. I have a buncha new prints ready if mother nature would just cooperate and give me some nice sunshine to take photos of the prints on canvas so I can get them up on Etsy. But I wanted to give Orinui visitors a special sneak peek.

Lovely thoughtful patterns from Cavern Home. If you are wallpaper fan you have to check out their blog. I love the retro wallpaper images.

Where They Create
I have learned a new thing about myself since starting this blog. That I am absolutely fascinated by creative workspaces. It also has a lot to do with me starting my own business and working out my own workspace. I feel that haveing a place that you can get away from everyday world and is set up so that you can just hit the ground running with your ideas is really important. I could spend the day looking at all the beautiful photography of artist studios from around the world on the Where They Create site. It is a catalog of images by Paul Barbera via dear ada.

Card Catalogs
Sweet Sweet Life
Small Notebook
Made by Wake
Small Notebook
Ever since I have gotten this super fancy Mac Book I have just been drowning in technology. So I am feeling a little nostalgic for the olden days. I am so happy to know that these card catalogs had a very important job in their young lives but now get to enjoy their retirement being loved and adored in peoples homes.

Peace Industry Felt Rugs
Wow these felt rugs from Peace Industry are definitely works of art. Such beautiful color choices and I love the way the geometric patterns are softened by felt. And I of course had to include the cue dog photo because the cute cats have been over represented on Orinui.

How To Make It In America
I am really getting into HBO's How to Make it in America. It is nice to see a show about how people sell their creativity. How many tv shows ask the question: Is picking out designer pillows a worthwhile contribution to the world? Don't worry it's not deep or anything in fact it is quite funny once you get into a few episodes

Sri Threads
I was looking for some Indigo inspiration and found much more than I ever expected from Sri textile gallery in Brooklyn. Their lovely blog Sri Threads is full of beautiful photographs of vintage Japanese textiles. I think my chances of visiting to New York are much better than getting back to Japan any time soon.

Threadcount Collective
Skinny Laminx had some great photos of trade show fabric displays for the textile designer's group Threadcount Collective out of South Africa. I just love how decadent it all looks piled together. It must be so wonderful to see all that hard work that is involved with design and production come together like that.

New Anthropologie Rugs
I really like the idea of Anthropologie's rugs but I am just not sure if I can really embrace the idea of granny chic. What do you think do you think these would fit in with your decour? I really like the colors in the tiger one but I would feel bad if I stepped on him or the bird.
