I'm Back!

After a very very long hiatus I have reopened the etsy store with huge markdowns. Each piece has been lowered by 10.00$. Get them while you can I will not be printing more. I have big plans to change things up in the coming year. Follow along on the blog to see what I am up to. I promise not to leave poor Orinui so neglected. Thanks so much for following the blog again. You are the best!

Where have I been?

Where have I been? Under a rock? How did I not know about this amazing blog Pattern Observer? Most of it is patterns in fashion but other stuff too. Some really great eye candy like this Gaultier number.

Indie Fixx Fall Galleria

So excited to announce that my prints are featured in the Fall Indie Fixx Galleria. It starts today and will be up for about two months. I am hoping folks will be doing some early Christmas shopping this fall. This is my first time doing any official advertising for my work. Crossing my fingers that it gets lots of attention out there in the big wide world of the internet. Not only does my page in the galleria have a link to my Etsy shop but also to Orinui. I can't wait to welcome all the new visitors to the blog.

Pin it Forward Starts Today

Pin it Forward posts starts today. Follow along as bloggers share what home means to them using the new  image sharing website Pintrest. This a great way to find your new favorite blog just follow along. Orinui will be sharing on Memorial Day May 31st. I still have a lot of pining to do to get ready. Pintrest has been a lot of addictive fun. It is a great way to bookmark images that catch your eye on the internet for future reference.

And the winner is.....

Remodelista is the winner of 2009 Apartment Therapy Hommies contest. I had my fingers crossed for Young House Love to win because they have featured my artwork and because they are also in Richmond VA.
Apartment Therapy did a great job on their site this year. They made it easy to vote and to view all the nominated sites. Lots of great sites on their list that deserved many more votes than they got. Having your own blog is just an excuse to spend all day looking at other people's blogs. Picking your favorite is like picking your favorite music, very personal. Here are some of my new discovered favorites:
House of Turquoise
The Happy Home

Knack
Cafe Carolina
Art Wall
