Heifer Cards
Wanted to share this years donation gift that I gave to friends and coworkers. It is so much fun to go on Heifer's website and pick out an animal to give each year. I get shrinky sheets from the craft store and trace the outline of the animal on a light box. This year it was a sheep, last year was a llama and I crocheted little wool scarves for each one. Unfortunately sheep don't really have the neck for scarf wearing so they just got a fuzzy hanger. Maybe I should have made them little ear muffs?

Christmas Hearts
These woven hearts make great handmade containers for little treats. I made them several years ago and put holiday teas inside as gifts for coworkers. But mine were nowhere near as fancy as these from Apartment Therapy.

Old Fashioned Holiday Decorations
Katy Elliott has some great diy holiday decorating ideas from around the web that remind me of childhood. These low budget ideas would be great to make with kids.

Caroline Gardner Christmas
I am having a really hard time getting in the Christmas spirit this year. Very Bah Humbug. Maybe I just need a little christmas pattern inspiration from Caroline Gardner's papergoods via Housemartin.

Christmas Trees
Tired of using the same Christmas decorations year after year. Maybe I need to mix it up with one of these "fashion" trees from Target. Red, black, purple, blue, green, or pink? I kinda want the pink one.

Paul And Kate Studio
Wow I have never done a silent auction before and I can't believe I won a beautiful barnacle bottle from Paul and Kate Studio. Even better than the one I have been lusting after on their etsy site. It looks like it was made for my slate toped dinning table. Check them out in person at Holiday Handmade tonight.

Japanese Craft Books
Aren't these books wonderful. Pompadour 24 on Esty is like your own personal japanese craft shopper. I was hoping to find craft stores in Japan but only found the craft dept on a Japanese department store when I visited. Just as well I would have wanted to bring home everything.

They have sashiko embroidery suplies and classes and of course a shop full of the little purses I am addicted to.Their website has a little bit of english. But who needs to read japanese when you just want to look at the pictures.

Mae wall Stickers
These wall stickers from Mae look like so much fun. I would love the paper dolls if I was a little girl. They are made of fabric and they say thay are restickable.
